WORKSHOPS - In our constant pursuit of excellence, ACT has interviewed hundreds of industry agents, casting directors and managers. When asked, “What is the key element, other than talent, to one’s success?” One answer was unanimous — TRAINING. In fact, when we asked this question to Paul Weber, casting director for MGM, he said, “There is no substitute for good training. If you are serious about the business, there is no excuse not to have it.” In understanding the premium the industry places on actors who are well trained, our workshops follow award winning curriculum that is well above industry standard. In essence, our students are learning the same things in their acting workshops as Orlando Bloom or Dakota Fanning are learning in theirs!
