Q. Are you a school?
A. Yes, the
We focus on acting, modeling, singing and dancing. We are extremely proud of our continued commitment to education, and helping our students earn, and maintain,
an edge over their competition in the entertainment industry.
Q. Are you a talent agency?
A. No. We are a private school that is by invitation only. We are not a casting company
or a talent agency.
Q. Do you only work with models?
A. No. Also please note, high fashion modeling has very strict physical requirements —
5’8” and above for women, 5’11” and above for men. The fact is, over 90% of our students are actors, singers and dancers.
Q. Will this interfere with school?
A. No. We believe that a solid academic foundation should be a young person’s first priority. Our policy is to only work with talented individuals who strive for academic
excellence.
Q. What time commitment is expected if ACT works with a student?
A. Students attend one, two or four workshops a weekend, once a month, for 5 months. Classes are Saturday and/or Sunday. (If it is more convenient for the student, in some markets, classes are also offered during the week.) Workshops are four hours in length.
Q. Does ACT accept everyone?
A. No. This program is not right for everybody. We are looking for people with a high level of talent, interest and dependability. When our students meet top industry professionals, their performance is a direct result of our program. ACT’s relationships with the best agencies and casting directors are excellent because we are known for presenting only the most talented, enthusiastic and professional candidates.
Q. If ACT chooses not to work with my child can I re-audition?
A. Yes. Our policy is to allow an individual to re-audition in 6 months.
